Hi everyone! (Well, since I doubt anyone really visits this blog anymore, Hi nobody!). Just thought I'd write on here and let people know that from now on I'll be posting art on just my personal website, www.melissabarton.com, and now I'll use my blog mostly for posting photos and news about my upcoming wedding ^_^. So anywho, with no further ado, a photo of me with my fiancee for anyone to look at!

Ashenputtel

Man, it's been a long time since my last post! Well, here's a spread from an assignment that I did for my sequential design class. We had to design three books for three Grimm's Fairy Tales. This spread is from Ashenputtel (otherwise known as Cinderella). My concept was to have the illustrations (done my Arthur Rackham) interact with the page.

Skunk

For my animal assignment I decided to do a skunk, because there's a skunk living somewhere around my house. They're so cute, too bad they stink so horribly! Our dogs got skunked this last summer, and, wow, did they smell awful.

My cornucopia is just in time for Thanksgiving! I can't wait to go home and eat all that yummy food, mmmm.
